春节，又叫“过年”，是中国人最盛大的节日。我们守岁、拜年、贴春联……“千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符”，春节最大的意义在于除旧布新。

在中国民间，传统意义上的春节时间更久些，从腊月初八或腊月二十三开始，一直持续到正月十五。

在传统节日春节期间，节日活动大多以祭神佛、祭祖、推陈出新、迎新年、祈丰年等内容为主。活动形式丰富多彩，具有浓郁的民族特色。
